This kit represents a typical timber derrick. Closely associated with
railroading they were used for general construction, railroad shops, loading coal,
sand and gravel, stone quarry work, bridge building and heavy manufacturing
like boiler making, etc. just to name a few.
Like the prototype this kit can be customized to fit the situation
and space requirements.
