The lathe is the first in a series of vintage machine tools. It is representative of a circa early 1900's machine. Some are still in use today. It can be used with our overhead pulley system (our detail part #O-53). If the modeler wants to depict something a little more modern we offer a Motor Conversion Kit (Kit 335D) which consists of an electric motor and pulleys.
